Wild thing, you make my heart sing. You make everything groovy, ah ha! Wild thing! Wild thing, I think you move me. But I wanna know for sure. Come on, hold me tight. Good god, you move me. Wild thing, you make my heart sing. You make everything groovy, ah ha! Wild thing! Wild thing, I think I love you. But I wanna know for sure. So come on and hold me tight. I love you. [Guitar solo].I went to Little Hoolie’s Bar & Grill and I saw Gypsy Queen perform there. They were really awesome! Here I am with their gorgeous singers Paula and Pamela Mattioli, and I was absolutely delighted to talk to them. I told them that I actually sat in with them one time many years ago at a nearby nightclub called Rollo’s. This was back in 1985 and I went there with Rhonda the surfer girl who happened to be my neighbor back then. Gypsy Queen managed to get me to sing with them the song Wild Thing by the The Troggs. And wild it was: Pamela and Paula stripped my shirt right off while I was on stage! (I wonder just what else they had in mind, LOL!). Although I am a professional musician, I am not a singer by any stretch of the imagination, however, even though this was a very long time ago, it was a very memorable experience and I had lots of fun singing along with them. It was wonderful to see these two beautiful girls again, who by the way are identical twins, and they were just as friendly as ever. Paula and Pamela now sing in a band called Mrs. Robinson (check out the awesome video on their website). The backdrop at Little Hoolie’s with the American flag was just perfect considering that the 4th of July would be coming up only a couple of days later!RIP Pamela Mattioli-Tucker.
